So yet again I get Dick of the Day for having anger management issues and receiving a yellow. So here you are, listening to me narrate about how I saw today's events.
It was a bitterly cold January afternoon, perfect conditions for a high quality game of hockey full of fast passing, pitch length aerials and drag flicks. Sadly this was followed by the s*** that is the 2s.
5 mins in and 1-0 up a yellow card is branded. There are numerous rumours flying around as to why I got a card. Some say it's for commuting a foul, ignoring the umpire and telling him to f*** off; others say it's for making a perfectly timed reserve tackle and being wrongfully penalised by saidumpire. The true events may never come to light.
What followed can only be described as the Bermuda Triangle. Everyone went missing. Misplaced passes, air shots, fluffing 1-on-1 chances and chest height aerials. In this time we capitulated conceding two sloppy goals
To summarise we turned up, it was shit, we went home.
