A tremendous performance from the COWS Mens 3s this week. The whole team were exceptional. Mulley with a goal and also the man lady Jack Murphy with a great goal!
However controversy struck when crowd pleaser Indy Chatwal scored 3 goals and was still voted Dick of the Day. Indy had a few words to say: “I must have ran about 30 miles today for the team, chipped in with a few goals, and helped the team win. Fantastic team effort, the team is now flying. However I was astounded to find out the team voted me Dick of the Day for forgetting my white top; I went through my emails and Captain Adam sent me a separate email to wear a BLUE TOP! I was set up!!”
This is a serious accusation from Indy Chatwal here. Was he set up? Or is he just an imbecile for not reading his emails correctly? You decide… #FakeNews
A Fantastic Team Effort
A tremendous performance from the COWS Mens 3s this week. Away at Epsom. Cold, rainy, steamy and cummy day. Not the best conditions for a game of Hockey. But they all knuckled down and knew a win was a must!!!
They welcomed the addition of Ollie M to the team, a promotion to the M3s. First half started fairly even. Both teams with a few chances. Epsoms defenders were incredibly mouthy and Indy / Mully thrived with their terrible banter. COWS won a short corner, Hutchy slipped it to Indy on the left. 1-0. A great response to Epsoms winging and complaining.
Jack Murphy (MAN OF THE MATCH) had a great game and scored a brilliant goal, with an assist from Dave C. Captain DP, Woj, Brooksy and Hutch were outstanding at the back. Epsom didn’t get a look in! Steelers, Ollie M and Dave C bossed things from the centre of the park. Cocksy with the promotion up the field to right mid (we were as astonished as you were! Especially as he was on the piss the night before! #StayLowCocksy) Dav came on to cause mayhem on the wings. Debut to Josh, promoted up 2 teams!
Mulley scored a well taken goal in the first half to make it 3-0 at half time. Some slick play in the 2nd half by Jack M and Ollie M helped set up two goals in the second half. Brooksy then allowed their left wing to score a token goal! 5-1! Great game! Great team spirit! Great prospects for the M3s!
